OUR STORY
A Family Business, Built One Relationship at a Time.
The Agarwal family started RPI International in Houston in 1997, trading plastic raw materials — sourcing from American manufacturers, recyclers, and collectors, and shipping to processors across Asia.
Those relationships became the foundation for a second business: importing incense from India by the container and selling it wholesale across North America, including three brands of our own. Decades later, RPI is still family-run — and still built on the trust those first relationships earned.

1997
Founded in Houston
The Agarwal family opens RPI in Houston, trading plastics and cosmetics.
1999
Gopal Agarwal Joins
Gopal Agarwal joins the business and takes full charge of the company.
2003
Incense Import Begins
RPI begins importing incense from India to sell wholesale from Houston.
2012
Univero Singapore
RPI forms Univero Singapore Pte. Ltd., a joint venture for Southeast and Far East Asia.
2026
The Legacy Continues
Yash Agarwal joins the family business, bringing the next generation to RPI.
